Massage Therapy – James Czapla, LMT
Jim is a New Jersey State Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. He is graduate of The Warren County Community College Massage Therapy program. Jim can provide relaxation massage, deep tissue, and trigger point massage therapy.
Jim is passionate about the positive effects of massage therapy on the body and mind. Some benefits of
massage can be increased energy, mental clarity, improving concentration, reducing stress and anxiety,
relieving muscle tension/stiffness, increased blood circulation, strengthening the immune system, and
balancing the digestive system.
Relaxation massage is a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes to help you relax. The therapist will move at a slower pace and use lighter pressure. In a relaxation massage, there is less emphasis on working out chronic underlying muscle tension — the adhesions or “knots” and muscle restrictions in the muscle tissue. That’s because deep tissue work can be uncomfortable, and during a relaxation massage you just want to drift away and feel good.
The therapist won’t push your limits in order to get the muscle to release. You might even fall asleep! It’s a good choice for someone who is getting a massage for the first time, or someone who just wants to bring their stress level down.
It is also good for someone who get a massage as a special treat once a year. It’s not realistic to expect that you can get rid of all your knots in one session, but to drift into a deeply relaxed state in sixty minutes..massage can do that!
Therapeutic Massage Therapy is defined as the mobilization of soft tissue (such as muscle, fascia and body fluids) to restore normal systemic and bio mechanical/functional use. It can be used to assist in the treatment of most musculo-skeletal and associated problems, and regular Therapeutic Massage Therapy results in improved circulatory, lymphatic and neurological functioning.
It can be stimulating or soothing depending on the technique, depth and speed. Carried out by a Registered Therapist, it is both safe and effective and helps to create balance and harmony from within.
Today, given the high levels of stress under which many people live, Therapeutic Massage Therapy is not only a highly beneficial therapy, but also one of the healthiest options to improving one’s quality of life.
