COVID-19 UPDATES

Office Policy:

Our goal at A Life In Balance during this time is to maintain a safe environment for both our patients and our staff. Many of our patients are high risk and for the benefit of our community, we have put in place certain guidelines to ensure best practice and maintain the highest levels of safety. We have included on this page the guidelines for the facility and we ask that you read each one carefully. While these guidelines have been in place since the beginning of the pandemic, we wanted to provide a reference for our community with the most up-to-date information. Feel free to contact the office if you have any specific questions or concerns.

  • Wearing a mask is up to each patient’s personal preference as long as the COVID numbers continue to be low. Staff will still continue to be masked.

  • We ask that you utilize the hand sanitizer provided at the front desk before continuing into the facility or proceed to the restroom to wash your hands immediately upon arrival.

  • If you are feeling unwell in any way, we ask that you call and let us know immediately so that we may reschedule your appointment. We also ask that you consider getting a COVID test if you are feeling cold or flu-like symptoms as you may still be a carrier even if you are vaccinated. Click here for a list of symptoms.

  • If you have received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis and have been in our facility within the past 48 hours, we ask that you call and inform us immediately, regardless of your vaccination status, so that we may contact the appropriate people and notify them of exposure that may be required for contact tracing.

  • If you are required to quarantine, we can provide Telehealth appointments to continue to support your needs while you are unable to come into the office. Current guidelines allow us to treat patients within the state of New Jersey and with some exceptions Pennsylvania.

  • All of our policies and procedures regarding COVID-19 are in alignment with the most up-to-date regulations from the CDC and NJ Department of Health.
